Brad assists case teams and eMerge attorneys and project managers with overseeing the document review and production process and conducting higher-level document review and analysis. He works closely with case teams to identify the scope of review and production criteria and develops workflows to improve document review efficiency and quality while containing costs. Brad frequently serves as a review team lead, supervising large teams of project attorneys to ensure substantive document review is carried out consistently with the directives of the case team and within the deadlines required. Brad leverages his knowledge of the facts and documents to assist case teams throughout the life cycle of the case. Brad’s experience includes preparing privilege logs, chronologies and deposition preparation materials. Brad also conducts targeted searches to help identify key documents, inconsistencies in the review, and nonresponsive categories of documents that can be excluded from the review process. In addition, Brad utilizes predictive coding and advanced analytics to help reduce the burdens and costs associated with manual review of documents.

  • Assisted with the targeted collections of, and managed the review of, documents to support state and federal regulatory filings in connection with the 2016 merger of a large public utility holding company and a gas company across five jurisdictions.
  • Developed workflows and managed the review team in categorizing and sorting key project correspondence and reports for a large-scale multiparty construction arbitration.
  • Coordinated workflows and managed document review to assist the case team in preparation for depositions in a multiple-party arbitration concerning one of the world’s leading power equipment suppliers.
  • Advised clients regarding the use of technology-assisted review workflows and managed the review process to efficiently review large volumes of opposing party production documents.
