Case focuses his practice on energy and corporate law. His energy practice involves advising domestic energy companies in a variety of energy transactions in the upstream and midstream sectors, including mergers and acquisitions, acquisitions and divestitures of oil and gas assets, joint ventures, and various oil and gas agreements. In addition to his hydrocarbon energy practice, Case counsels clients on wind, solar, and other renewable energy matters, including those relating to project development, power purchase agreements, and hedging and offtake arrangements.

Case’s corporate practice includes representing public and private clients in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, corporate restructurings, corporate governance, and general corporate matters.

  • Assisted in supporting Enterprise Products Partners in the acquisition of Navitas Midstream Partners, LLC, for $3.25 billion.
  • Assisted in guiding WildFire Energy I in acquiring Eagle Ford assets from Chesapeake Energy Corporation for $1.425 billion, a major transaction in the energy sector.
  • Assisted in counseling Enterprise Products Partners L.P., in its definitive agreement to acquire Piñon Midstream, LLC.
  • Helped in advising Conduit Power in a joint venture with Riley Exploration Permian, establishing new power infrastructure.
