Chris joined Troutman Strategies in 2013 and serves as a senior manager in the Washington, D.C., office. In this role, Chris develops client initiatives, political strategy, and conducts outreach and advocacy before Congress and federal agencies.
Chris helps clients meet federal affairs and public policy goals by monitoring and evaluating legislation, hearings, regulations, and grants put forth by Congress and federal agencies and by providing in-depth policy analysis.
Chris works with Fortune 500 companies, institutions of higher education, multinational corporations, agricultural groups, national trade associations, health care and health information technology companies, nonprofits, and others, covering a wide range of complex public policy issues.
Before joining Troutman Strategies, Chris gained experience in government relations on and off Capitol Hill. Chris served as a legal research assistant in the government affairs group at Stinson Morrison Hecker LLP, focusing on agricultural and international trade issues. Chris also spent time in the Washington, D.C., office of Senator Robert Menendez, working as a research assistant covering banking and housing issues.
