Craig is a transactional attorney who provides legal and tax advice to clients in the financial, transportation, and energy sectors. Craig represents clients in the financial, transportation, and energy sectors and concentrates his practice on complex financial transactions, including all forms of leasing transactions, secured and unsecured loan transactions, tax equity transactions, and project development transactions. Craig provides both commercial law and tax advice in connection with these transactions. Craig also has extensive experience in structuring and documenting international joint ventures and strategic alliances and in advising shipping companies and other participants in the maritime industry with respect to the U.S. taxation of international shipping operations.
Craig’s practice also includes structured finance as it relates to municipal capital markets, with particular emphasis on municipal derivatives and synthetic structures, such as tender option bond programs and swap arrangements relating to those programs.
