  • Represented an owner/operator of energy-from-waste and power generation projects in an arbitration initiated by a general contractor claiming more than $100 million for extra work and delay and inefficiency damages in connection with the construction of industrial facility in Canada. Served as second chair at thirty-three week arbitration.
  • Represented a general contractor seeking damages for delay and lost productivity arising from a $35 million contract for renovation and construction of a major regional health care facility located in New York City. Reached a favorable settlement despite “no-damages-for-delay” clause in contract.
  • Represented a construction manager in an arbitration seeking $1.4 million owed in connection with the renovation of a Michelin star restaurant. Obtained judgment in client’s favor after the court granted a motion to confirm the arbitration award.
  • Represented a private university in the drafting and negotiation of AIA contracts with construction managers and architects for campus construction projects.
