Overview

Elizabeth assists clients in complex commercial litigation, including contractual disputes, class actions, financial services and securities litigation, and commercial tort matters. She represents banks, insurers, and other financial institutions on both the plaintiff and defense side, bringing a comprehensive perspective to high-stakes disputes. In addition to her commercial litigation practice, Elizabeth defends companies in toxic tort cases arising from alleged asbestos exposure.

Elizabeth guides clients through all phases of litigation, from pre-suit strategy through appeal. Her experience includes conducting nuanced legal research, drafting dispositive and other substantive motions, managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, participating in trial, and assisting with appellate briefing. Most recently, she was part of a team that secured a favorable decision from the U.S. Supreme Court.

Elizabeth also maintains a robust pro bono practice. She assists clients in applying for citizenship, works with veterans to upgrade their discharge status, conducts case evaluations for the Innocence Project, supports single parents in custody disputes, and represents New York City public schools in litigation matters.
