Emeka’s practice focuses on project finance and development, M&A, and private equity transactions. He advises development finance institutions, sponsors, financial institutions, and corporate borrowers in structuring and negotiating complex financial arrangements, with a focus on infrastructure and energy assets.
Emeka has experience advising clients on syndicated and bilateral lending arrangements, convertible and structured debt instruments, fund investments as well as strategic acquisition, divestitures and joint ventures. He provides counsel across all stages of the transaction lifecycle — from initial due diligence to post transaction integration. With experience as an international attorney, Emeka has additional experience managing transactions across multiple jurisdictions in Africa and Latin America.
Before joining the firm, Emeka worked in in-house roles in several multinational organizations and as an associate for an international law firm in Nigeria.
