Gillian is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property group, based in the Boston Office. Her practice focuses primarily on patent disputes.

Gillian received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law, cum laude, with concentrations in intellectual property law and international law. During law school, she served as articles editor of the Journal of Science and Technology Law and participated in the BU-MIT Technology Law Clinic, providing legal advice to student-run start-ups on matters related to patent, copyright, and data privacy law.

Before law school, Gillian earned her degree in neuroscience from Colgate University, where she conducted research on social interaction and cognitive development in relation to vocal learning and speech development. In addition to her experience working with technology start-ups during law school, she brings her experience from the life sciences to her practice to help clients across a variety of disciplines.
