Halli is a trial attorney with a specialized practice in product liability defense and serious personal injury cases involving prescription pharmaceuticals, over-the-counter drugs, and medical devices. Having practiced in this area for more than 30 years, Halli understands the underlying science, as well as the law, and is able to provide a greater level of service to her clients. Halli has extensive experience in mass torts, specifically with pelvic and hernia mesh, talc, IVC filters, anti-depressant pharmaceuticals, and ranitidine. Besides defending clients in the courtroom, Halli is often called upon to develop tools and processes to reduce product liability risk. Her substantial experience includes representing clinical laboratories in claims of misdiagnosis and negligent screening.

Halli’s past trial experience involves automotive design and manufacturing issues. She has represented large oil and gas companies in serious personal injury and premises liability cases and has represented product manufacturers such as Merck, Sofamor Danek and Gambro Healthcare, General Motors, Mazda, and Mercedes Benz. She serves as co-national counsel for one of the world’s largest logistics companies. In addition to her trial practice, Halli serves as national counsel and manages large-scale mass tort litigation.

Halli is active in her local community and serves on the board of Cool Girls’, an organization with a mission to empower Atlanta, GA girls by breaking the cycle of poverty, low self-esteem, and teen pregnancy. She is also on the advisory board of the Pro-Bono Partnership. Halli is active at Emory University and with the International Association of Defense Counsel, and is a frequent speaker on topics relevant to mass torts and multidistrict litigation.

  • Represented a major pharmaceutical company in numerous lawsuits filed throughout the U.S. claiming personal injury and death caused by the prescription drug Paxil® resulting in numerous dismissals.
  • Served as local counsel for a major pharmaceutical company in the Mass Tort Program in Philadelphia, PA.
  • Represented General Motors in product liability cases throughout the Southeast resulting in summary judgments and numerous dismissals.
