Jackie C. Bell

Jackie focuses on commercial contracts and technology transactions, advising a wide range of clients across a variety of industries. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Virginia, is a member of the Virginia State Bar, and attended law school at the University of Virginia School of Law. Jackie received her bachelor’s degree from George Mason University, graduating summa cum laude, prior to attending UVA for law school.

Jackie worked in the technology transactions group at another firm from October 2014 to June 2017. She works closely with Brandon Woods on commercial and technology transactions. Jackie advises clients on a variety of matters and transactions, including SaaS agreements, software and data licenses, open source review, privacy policies and terms of use, HIPAA compliance, GDPR compliance and international data transactions, in addition to more general commercial transactions, such as vendor agreements, leases and client-specific research regarding compliance with various state and local laws.
