Jill represents clients in matters involving product liability; the manufacture, regulation, sale, and safety of products; high-exposure torts and catastrophic injuries; and professional liability. Her experience includes product liability jury trials in state and federal courts, as well as appellate experience in Georgia state and federal courts.

Jill provides pro bono legal services for the Georgia Asylum and Immigration Network (GAIN), which assists immigrant workers and victims of human trafficking, domestic violence, sexual assault, and other crimes.

Product Safety and Product Liability

  • Guides clients in all aspects of product regulation, safety, including investigations, product recalls and other corrective actions, warnings, and testing.
  • Advises clients regarding compliance with the reporting requirements of the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the federal agency charged with ensuring product safety.
  • Advises clients regarding product safety testing.
  • Represents product manufacturers in defense of product liability tort litigation and claims.
  • Represented automotive manufacturers in product liability litigation involving vehicles and their component parts.
  • Assisted in jury trials on behalf of Fortune 100 companies in state and federal courts throughout Georgia.

High-exposure Torts and Catastrophic Injury

  • Represents clients in litigation involving catastrophic injuries.
  • Represented clients in litigation, including wrongful death litigation, involving fires and explosions.

Professional and Fiduciary Liability

  • Counsel to directors and officers of financial institutions in adversary proceedings brought by the U.S. Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) asserting negligence, breach of fiduciary duties, and other claims.
  • Represents directors and officers in proceedings involving corporate governance and professional duties.
