Representative Matters

John represents insurers in complex insurance coverage litigation in state and federal courts. He is an experienced litigator who has worked with a wide range of clients, including Fortune 100 companies, small businesses, and individuals, on various litigation matters. John handles all aspects of litigation, such as discovery, trials, and appeals. He has managed numerous high-exposure cases and consistently achieved positive results for his clients. John’s practice spans coverage disputes, bad faith and commercial litigation, and breach of contract actions.

Before joining the firm, John was a fellow of the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). During the ABOTA Fellowship, he clerked for the Honorable Victor E. Chavez of the California Superior Court for the County of Los Angeles.

While in law school, John was the competitions chair of the Trial Advocacy Honors Program at Southwestern Law School, a member of Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, and clerked for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office Hardcore Gang Division.

  • Secured summary judgment for a domestic insurer in coverage litigation on contractual limitations period provision. 
  • Second-chaired a civil bench trial in Los Angeles Superior Court and secured judgment for a high-net worth individual on equity claims.
