John represents clients in a wide variety of general and complex litigation matters, shareholder disputes, products liability, and privacy claims. Clients turn to John for his dedication to understanding their problems and his determination to achieving a successful result.
John is an associate in the firm's Regulatory Investigations, Strategy + Enforcement (RISE) Practice Group. He focuses his practice on a wide range of general and complex litigation matters, including shareholder disputes, fraud, products liability, breach of contract, and Biometric Information Privacy Act claims. John's dedication to understanding his clients' businesses and needs allows him to strategically navigate the various stages of litigation in both state and federal court, including the management of discovery, depositions, motion practice, and settlement.
In addition to navigating litigation disputes, John also advises and counsels clients on a variety of regulatory and compliance matters including Medicare, Medicaid, BIPA, and other statutory provisions. John has also conducted internal investigations related to potential trading violations on the NYMEX and COMEX; Medicaid and Medicare fraud; and sexual assault. He has particular experience with contract disputes, and has contributed as an editor to the book, Illinois Contract Litigation.
As a thought leader, John provides ongoing analysis and commentary on regulatory developments and is a contributor to the firm's regulatory blog, Regulatory Oversight.
