Julia helps corporate clients involved in litigation and government investigations. She consults on substantive discovery disputes and helps clients develop matter-specific discovery strategies and leverage technology to reduce costs.
Julia supervises discovery for a diverse range of matters, including intellectual property litigation, governmental investigations, and construction and business litigation, and advises clients on discovery matters. She leads and supervises document reviews involving large teams of attorneys as well as counsels on discovery workflows and strategy, including technology-assisted review and structured analytics.
Julia drafts and implements legal holds, analyzes documents for attorney-client privilege or status as work product, and prepares privilege logs. Julia also develops strategies and manages preparation for depositions and expert discovery.
Prior to joining the firm, Julia practiced intellectual property litigation at a midsize firm and worked as a deputy public defender in rural Idaho, defending indigent clients in felony and misdemeanor criminal cases.
