Overview

Katlynn is an associate in the firm’s corporate practice, where she advises private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, add-on acquisitions, take-private deals, and minority investments. She also counsels strategic buyers on a wide variety of transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, Katlynn practiced at another law firm, where she gained experience drafting and negotiating deal documents, managing due diligence workstreams, and leading signing and closing mechanics across a wide variety of transactions. She also counseled emerging companies on venture capital financings — including SAFEs, convertible notes, and preferred stock rounds — as well as day-to-day corporate governance and capitalization matters. Her background working with both established private equity-backed businesses and early-stage companies gives her a practical perspective on the distinct needs each type of client brings to a transaction.

* Licensed to practice in Colorado. Not admitted in Pennsylvania.
