Kyle focuses his practice on a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including the purchase, sale, leasing, financing, and development of commercial real estate. Kyle’s areas of expertise include:

  • Assisting clients in the purchase and sale of commercial real estate, including drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, deeds of trust, assignment of leases, loan documents, deeds, and related closing documents, and the review, analysis and completion of title, survey, environmental, and zoning issues.
  • Reviewing, negotiating and drafting commercial leases, lease amendments, estoppels, subordination and nondisclosure agreements, subleases, deeds of easements, and related leasing documents.
  • Representing clients in the purchase and sale of businesses and related business assets.
  • Advising clients on lot line vacation and boundary line adjustments, zoning matters, condominium and owners association matters, and complex title and survey issues.
  • Serves as local counsel for multistate commercial real estate purchases and sales in amounts of up to $132 million.
  • Represented a national real estate management companies and trusts in all matters concerning owners associations, including conducting annual meetings and the review and analysis of association governance.
  • Represented the seller in the multimillion-dollar sale of multiple chain stores in multiple locations throughout Virginia.
  • Represented national asset management companies in the sale of commercial real estate owned by tenants in common in amounts of up to $21 million.
  • Represented a university real estate foundation in matters related to the purchase, sale, financing, management, and development of real estate, including the financing and refinancing of projects in excess of $200 million.
  • Represented financial institutions in the creation of revolving credit facilities in amounts of up to $22.5 million.
