Lauren focuses her practice on traditional labor law, representing employers before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and in matters arising under federal and state labor relations laws. She counsels clients across a wide swath of the economy — manufacturers, automakers, technology companies, health care organizations, and hospitality businesses, plus universities and sports and entertainment organizations that bring their own distinct labor challenges.
Lauren has experience guiding employers throughout the full spectrum of labor relations issues. She regularly advises clients on union representation campaigns, union corporate campaigns, and labor-related aspects of corporate mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings. Lauren also handles collective bargaining negotiations, arbitrations, NLRB unfair labor practice proceedings and appeals, and federal and state labor injunction cases.
Earlier in her career, Lauren served as senior staff counsel at the NLRB, where she advised the chair of the NLRB on unfair labor practice and representation cases and drafted proposed agency decisions and opinions — experience that now informs how she counsels and represents clients on Board strategy. She has written on developments in the Board’s approach to petition-timing rules, captive-audience meetings, joint-employer standards, and other facets of labor law.
