Mia focuses her practice on business litigation matters. She represents clients in complex litigation in a variety of areas, including commercial litigation, contract disputes, legal malpractice, and higher education litigation.
In her higher education practice, Mia provides litigation, counseling, and investigative services to colleges, universities, and other educational institutions.
Prior to joining the firm, Mia worked at a boutique law firm in Philadelphia where she developed her litigation skills in a nationally recognized insurance defense practice. After law school, Mia worked at an international Am Law 100 law firm as a corporate attorney in the firm's global finance practice group, focusing on commercial real estate finance and investment.
She is also an active pro bono practitioner, representing clients in wrongful conviction and prisoners' civil rights cases, among others.
