Michael is an associate in the firm’s Business Litigation practice. He focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, and has experience handling matters in arbitration (AAA/JAMS), federal district court, and state court.

In addition to representing corporate clients, Michael also has an active pro bono practice, where he represents former service members who are seeking discharge upgrades before the Army Board for Correction of Military Records, and benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs.

During law school, Michael served as a summer clerk for the Honorable Mark Martin, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of North Carolina.

Prior to practicing law, Michael worked on Capitol Hill for the House Budget Committee, where he assisted more than 20 members of Congress prepare for committee hearings and helped legal counsel enforce procedural rules.
