Overview

Michael is a California litigator who represents financial services companies and other clients in complex commercial disputes. He is experienced in class action defense, fraud and RICO matters, illegal lending complaints, and disputes with government agencies. He handles all phases of litigation and has argued before state and federal trial and appellate courts.

Before joining Troutman, Michael practiced at firms in San Francisco and Los Angeles, where he developed a broad litigation foundation across commercial disputes, insurance fraud, and consumer class actions. He also served as lead trial counsel in a pro bono civil rights matter in federal court, for which his team was recognized with the San Francisco Bar Association Crystal Award.
