Before retiring, Olivia had more than 16 years of experience with various major international law firms in advising clients on legal aspects of their foreign investment and business operation in Greater China. She advised multinational and/or local corporations, banks and securities firms as well as private equity funds on their direct investments, local and international securities and debt offerings, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, disposals, corporate restructuring, regulatory compliance and dispute resolutions, with significant experience and knowledge in Greater China. At the same time, she represented many PRC state-owned and private enterprises, Hong Kong and international companies on their overseas mergers and acquisitions, business establishment, pre-IPO restructuring, Hong Kong and overseas listings/public offerings, financing, debt restructuring and tax planning. She was particularly experienced in representing clients in in-bound and out-bound investments in a wide range of business sectors.
