Pramesh is a proven technology leader with more than three decades of experience driving innovation and transformation across global banking, defense contracting, and the legal sector. His career is defined by a consistent focus on aligning technology strategy with business objectives, enabling growth, and leading high-impact change initiatives.

Beginning his career at Bank of America in London, Pramesh advanced through leadership roles at Serco, a U.S. Department of Defense contractor, before transitioning into legal technology in 1998. He played a key role in European expansion and merger integration for two U.S.-based law firms, and later relocated to Atlanta, where he joined Troutman Sanders in 2010.

As CIO at a previous law firm, Pramesh led the firm’s most significant IT transformation during a period of accelerated growth. He returned to Troutman Sanders in 2017 as CIO, where he now oversees enterprise technology, information governance, research services, and cybersecurity.

Pramesh has successfully led technology strategy through two major law firm mergers — Troutman Sanders with Pepper Hamilton in 2020, and again with Locke Lord in 2025 — forming Troutman Pepper Locke, a 1,600+ attorney firm with 33 offices. His leadership during these integrations earned him the GeorgiaCIO 2020 CIO of the Year®®️ ORBIE®®️ Award.
