Rakhee has three decades of experience guiding clients through complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters. Recognized by Best Lawyers and Chambers USA year after year — and named to the “Best Lawyers in Dallas” list in the Bankruptcy & Workout category by D Magazine, which recognizes attorneys in the local legal market — Rakhee is trusted by clients facing insolvency and restructuring challenges across various industries, including energy, health care, technology, retail, manufacturing, hospitality, and others. She represents public and private companies, including startup ventures, and her clients include debtors, lenders, vendors, landlords, equity holders, ad hoc bondholder groups, and official committees.

In addition to high-stakes bankruptcy litigation, Rakhee’s practice covers complex Chapter 11 reorganizations, out-of-court workouts, liability management, and distressed M&A transactions. She is equally at home advising clients at the negotiating table as she is advocating for them in the courtroom, where she has handled preference actions, fraudulent transfer claims, breach of fiduciary duty disputes, and dischargeability matters in courts across Texas and beyond. Rakhee is admitted to practice in all four federal districts in Texas, the Fifth and Tenth Circuits, and the state bars of Texas and New York.

Rakhee speaks regularly at national and regional conferences on bankruptcy and restructuring topics. She serves as chair of the Northern District of Texas Complex Case Procedures Committee and is a fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy.
