Richard had broad experience in transactional and corporate matters, particularly mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital, as well as joint ventures and strategic partnering. His clients consisted of middle-market companies and private equity funds that focus on them. Richard also enjoyed working with start-up and emerging companies, early-stage venture funds and angel investors. He represented dozens of family-owned businesses, including those in their second and third generation. Richard advised clients in a diverse array of industries ranging from information technology and biotechnology to apparel and film production and had extensive experience representing companies in the health care industry.
