Rich has substantial experience in the representation of contractors on stadiums, chemical process and power generating facilities.

  • Prosecuted claims and defended counterclaims associated with the construction of a 200 MW electrical generating facility in southeastern Massachusetts.
  • Prosecuted claims and defended counterclaims and lien awards on behalf of an EPC contract associated with the construction of concrete foundations at a new greenfield construction of an artificial ammonia plant in Wyoming.
  • Prosecuted claims and defended counterclaims on behalf of a contractor against a pipeline developer.
  • Prosecuted more than $30 million of claims and defended $60 million counterclaim on behalf of major Chicago general contractor, along with pass through claims of six contractors.
  • Represented major oil refinery in connection with claims arising out of storm water and ground water handling during an environmental remediation project.
  • Prosecuted claims and defended counterclaims for the electrical contractor arising out of construction of Lincoln Financial Field.
  • Prosecuted claims and defended counterclaims by the concrete contractor arising out of construction of Citizens Bank Park.
  • Represented a coke facility in connection with construction claims and property damage associated with earth movement and water infiltration.
