Ryan is a litigation associate in the firm’s Consumer Financial Services group. He regularly represents consumer-facing companies in high-stakes litigation and class actions in both state and federal court.   

Ryan has significant experience representing insurance brokerages, insurers, and other insurance intermediaries in commercial disputes, including professional liability and contract disputes. Ryan’s wide-ranging litigation experience also includes contract disputes, copyright enforcement, trade secret disputes, and commercial litigation.   

Ryan’s pro bono practice includes work for Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), a nonprofit focused on protecting the rights of children who have experienced violence and poverty.

Before law school, Ryan worked for five years as an insurance broker for a Fortune 500 commercial insurance brokerage firm in San Francisco.

Ryan served as a member of the U.C. Law S.F. Board of Governors.
