Overview

Sam is an attorney in the firm’s Regulatory Investigations, Strategy + Enforcement practice. He is experienced in jury and bench trials, motion practice, and discovery management involving complex commercial litigation. Sam has represented clients in Virginia state and federal courts, handling business disputes and others including fraud and property complaints, and has served as second chair at trial, supporting motions in limine, jury selection, client preparation, exhibit management, and post-trial briefing. Sam has also represented a client in juvenile court in an immigration matter, and he successfully argued for the early release of a federal prisoner in D.C. criminal court through the University of Virginia School of Law’s Decarceration and Reentry Clinic.
