Jennifer is an energy associate in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, where she advises clients on transactional and regulatory matters.

Before joining the firm, Jennifer worked as an associate attorney at a D.C.-area law firm, primarily representing natural gas and oil producers in proceedings before the FERC and federal courts involving cost-of-service rate, proration, tariff, and contract disputes under the Natural Gas Act (NGA) and Interstate Commerce Act (ICA). Prior to that, Jennifer spent two years serving as an attorney advisor to FERC administrative law judges, where she advised on contested proceedings involving return on equity, capital structure, reactive power, formula rate, market-based rate, and RTO market manipulation issues arising under the Federal Power Act, NGA, and ICA.

While in law school, Jennifer interned with FERC’s Office of Administrative Litigation, the CFTC, and the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC). These experiences allowed her to build an in-depth understanding of issues related to administrative adjudication, energy commodity markets and derivatives, and the bulk power system.
