Solomon is a fellow of The Pepper Center for Public Service. The Pepper Center draws on the talents of the firm’s retired partners and senior attorneys to wrestle with tough problems facing our communities. Through the center, these attorneys study, analyze, and work to resolve problems that affect the lives of people in our communities.

Before retiring, Solomon counseled clients with respect to an array of strategic business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, startup and venture capital financings, corporate carve-outs, financing transactions, and restructurings and reorganizations. During his more than 25 years of practicing, Solomon managed a range of complex transactions for clients in a variety of industries, including human and pet foods, chemicals, cosmetics, life sciences, health care, equipment, and financial services industries. He also counseled clients with respect to strategic corporate, commercial agreements, and corporate governance matters.

In addition, he counseled clients on raising capital through private and public securities offerings and businesses in connection with outsourcing, supply, purchasing and manufacturing, and other commercial arrangements.

Before attending law school, Solomon held a variety of business positions with IBM Corporation.
