Srinath Natarajan, Ph.D.

Dr. Natarajan is a registered patent agent with a background in electrical engineering. He collaborates with IP litigation attorneys to provide counsel to technology clients on ITC and District Court litigation matters in various aspects of litigation such as diligence, claim construction, validity and infringement analyses, and discovery. Dr. Natarajan’s practice also includes the prosecution of utility patents as well as strategic patent portfolio development and management. He has experience advising a wide range of clients, including multinational companies, Ivy league and international research institutes, investors, and startups.

Dr. Natarajan has also handled patent matters across a variety of technologies, including telecommunication protocols (5G, LTE, WiFi), battery systems, antenna testing, digital imaging systems, optical imaging systems, digital communications and network systems, semiconductor metrology and fabrication, medical devices, consumer electronics, computer software, 3D scanning, image/video compression, and optical imaging systems.

During his previous career as an electrical engineer, Dr. Natarajan has designed and built electronic devices for various sensing and signal processing applications in the field of biomedical and consumer electronics and has experience in manufacturing laptops and tablet computers.
