Stephen F. Conaway

Stephen has extensive experience in complex commercial cases as well as personal injury, medical malpractice, and insurance coverage disputes. He currently focuses his practice on assisting in the litigation of commercial and health care matters as well as white collar investigations.

Stephen performs a variety of functions to reduce litigation costs and improve the quality of legal services delivered, including using modern e-discovery technologies to efficiently perform responsiveness, privilege, confidentiality, and issue reviews. Stephen also conducts targeted searches to pinpoint important documents needed for motion practice and deposition preparation.

Before joining the firm, Stephen served as assistant general counsel and general counsel for Central Sprinkler Corporation, where he handled disputes and litigation matters for Central’s family of manufacturing and distribution companies. At Central Sprinkler, he provided guidance to senior executives regarding legal issues affecting the business, including class actions and governmental investigations. Additionally, he helped to negotiate contracts involving the sale and installation of company products.

For more than 20 years, Stephen has been active as a speech and debate adviser at Saint Joseph University, where his students have won five national championships in competitive public speaking. He has also provided communications counseling to corporations and political candidates.
