Valeria Subocheva Smith

Valeria is an associate in the firm’s Corporate practice. She advises U.S. and global clients on a broad range of corporate matters, including domestic and cross-border merger and acquisition and joint venture transactions. Valeria represents strategic and private equity investors in transactions across a wide range of industries and represents private companies in commercial transactions.

Valeria graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she received her law degree. Prior to joining the firm, Valeria practiced in European and U.S. offices of international law firms.

• Advised one of the largest global sustainability consulting firms in a series of acquisitions of U.S.-based businesses and complex restructuring of U.S. subsidiaries.
• Advised a major U.S. logistics holding company in a series of acquisitions of assets and equity in regional logistics providers.
• Advised several U.S. logistics companies selling equity to global enterprise logistics providers.
• Advised a private equity firm in a series of transactions to acquire real estate and businesses across the U.S.
