Overview

Vijaya is a registered senior patent agent who assists clients with their prosecution and portfolio management needs. With an academic background in genetics and molecular biology, she works with clients in diverse areas of biotechnology, including antibodies, immune oncology adeno-associated virus platforms, gene replacement, stem cells, infectious diseases, and vaccines.

Vijaya has experience managing IP portfolios for both early stage companies as well as more established companies and universities. In addition to preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the U.S. and worldwide, she also has experience in conducting freedom to operate (FTO) analysis, supporting due diligence, and FDA related submissions to the USPTO such as patent term extension. With more than 8 years of experience, Vijaya works with firm attorneys, technical specialists and junior patent agents to support client’s intellectual property related needs.
