William (Bill) represents clients in complex regulatory investigations, state attorneys general matters, and enforcement proceedings. He draws on his experience as a former assistant U.S. attorney and as a private-sector litigator advising corporations in high-stakes litigation and regulatory investigations, including multistate AG investigations.

Before joining the firm, Bill served as an assistant U.S. attorney for the District of Delaware. As an AUSA, Bill represented the United States in civil and criminal fraud matters, including investigations under the False Claims Act, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act.

Prior to serving as an AUSA, Bill practiced as a private-sector litigator in New York, advising corporate clients in regulatory inquiries, internal investigations, corporate governance matters, and commercial litigation proceedings. He has experience across a broad range of matters, including health care fraud, securities, class actions, mass torts, antitrust, and breach of contract actions.

Bill’s representative work includes advising a leading consumer products company in resolving multistate AG investigations; representing a retail investing company in putative class actions arising from trading restrictions on certain highly volatile securities; and representing a utility company in mass tort actions arising out of California wildfires.
