William is an associate in the firm's Corporate practice. He focuses his practice on counseling both public and private companies, including financial services providers, with respect to a variety of general corporate matters. William's mergers and acquisitions practice includes representing private equity funds and their portfolio companies, as well as strategic purchasers and sellers, in public and private mergers and acquisitions, and in investment transactions. William also represents public and private companies in the REIT and real estate industries in their securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
William graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School. He also received his master's degree in finance from Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management and his bachelor's degree in accountancy from the University of Mississippi.
