Government Contract Lending

With an office in the nation’s capital and more than 30 years of experience, we provide comprehensive and informed guidance to lenders in lending transactions involving government receivables. We work with banks and other financial institutions to structure and document single-, multibank and syndicated credit facilities where government receivables constitute a significant component of the collateral, including revolving lines of credit, asset-based loans, factoring arrangements (invoice financing), equipment leasing, and cash-flow loans.

Our attorneys have extensive experience representing lenders in transactions involving the financing of receivables with numerous federal agencies, including the Department of Defense, the State Department, and the Department of Agriculture, among others. We also regularly advise our clients on compliance with the Federal Assignment of Claims Act and the related FARs.
