Troutman Sanders Authors Chambers USA Practice Guide on Renewable Energy
ATLANTA – Troutman Sanders LLP has authored the 2018 Alternative Energy & Power Guide for Chambers and Partners. The firm’s Energy and Capital Projects & Infrastructure practices were asked by Chambers to be the exclusive contributor for the section. Associates Jamond Perry, Meghan Mandel and James Gallagher and partners Christopher Jones, Amie Colby, Anne Dailey, Bill Derasmo, Cliff Sikora and John Leonti wrote and edited the guide.
“We were honored by Chambers’ invitation to author the USA chapter of the global alternative energy-focused guide and hope our contribution proves beneficial to those operating in the ever-changing energy landscape,” Jones said.
“Our renewable team represents investors, lenders, utilities, independent power producers and developers in renewable-energy projects throughout the U.S. We brought that breadth of experience to the Chambers guide,” Leonti said.
Troutman Sanders’ energy practice groups have counseled utilities and other energy clients about changing regulatory challenges since the 1920s. The team handles matters across the energy-related sector including renewable energy, nuclear, oil and natural gas, energy construction, electricity and energy storage.
Chambers and Partners has ranked attorneys since 1990 and now covers 185 jurisdictions. The legal directory publishes Global Practice Guides that are freely accessible online and distributes 10,000 hard copies of each guide to senior in-house counsel worldwide, who use them as a reference when carrying out cross border work.
