ATLANTA – Troutman Sanders LLP is pleased to announce the election of nine new partners. These partners practice in the firm’s Atlanta, Chicago, Orange County, Portland, Richmond, and Virginia Beach offices.
Tony Beall (Orange County/Multifamily Housing Finance) specializes in multifamily finance and commercial loan transactions throughout the United States, primarily representing lenders in connection with major Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and conduit lending projects.
Robert Beaman (Virginia Beach/Real Estate) focuses on commercial and multifamily real estate transactions and land use issues, representing developers, lenders, landlords and tenants throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Robert Browne (Chicago/Intellectual Property) focuses on all facets of the regulation of life sciences companies, in sectors including biotechnology, food, medical devices and pharmaceuticals. He also represents clients in complex litigation, ranging from intellectual property matters to insurance coverage actions.
Kevin Dexter (Richmond/Multifamily Housing Finance) focuses on commercial real estate, specializing in the multifamily housing industry, including lender representation in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily housing programs.
Lindsey Mann (Atlanta/Business Litigation) handles class action litigation involving consumer claims, including consumer finance, unfair and deceptive trade practices, civil RICO, and false advertising claims. She also represents corporate and individual clients in civil litigation in federal and state courts at the trial and appellate levels.
Shona Smith (Portland/Corporate) focuses on U.S.-Canada cross-border securities matters, representing issuers and investment banks in a variety of public and private equity and debt financings. She also advises Canadian issuers in connection with initial listings on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the Nasdaq Stock Market (NASDAQ) and the NYSE Amex (AMEX), and on the continuous reporting and corporate governance requirements under the U.S. federal securities laws.
Timothy St. George (Richmond/Business Litigation) focuses on financial services litigation and consumer litigation, with a particular emphasis on litigating individual and class action cases under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and other federal consumer protection statutes, as well as their state counterparts.
Seth Winter (Richmond/Financial Institutions) represents publicly-traded companies, banks and bank holding companies on corporate law, securities law and regulatory matters and has substantial experience representing financial institutions in mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance and corporate governance.
Andrea Wortzel (Richmond/Environmental) focuses on water quantity and water quality issues, as well as endangered species issues, landfill permitting and compliance, environmental compliance and audit programs and environmental enforcement defense.
