Fisk Alloy Acquires Thermo Technologies’ Special Wire Business With Guidance From Troutman Pepper Locke

NEW YORK – Troutman Pepper Locke advised Fisk Alloy, Inc. (Fisk), a leading international manufacturer of high-performance copper alloy wires and conductors, in its acquisition of France-based FSP-One, Innov Wires Technology, Inc., and Thermocompact International Trading Co., as well as the specialty wire business of Hi-Tech Wires Asia Co. Ltd., from Thermo Technologies and Edify.

This strategic transaction represents a major milestone for Fisk and the special wires business of Thermo Technologies, creating the worldwide leader in high-end specialty conductors for critical no-fail applications in aerospace, defense, electronics, and medical technologies.

The Troutman Pepper Locke team that advised Fisk was led by Nanette Heide and Jim Rosener, and included Jonathan Homer, Morgan Klinzing, Tom Phelan, Patrick Archambault,  Thomas Dockery, Samantha Peruto, and Emma Teman. The transaction also required close coordination with international counsel including August Debouzy (France), DFDL (Vietnam), and JunHe (China) on the complex cross-border regulatory matters.
