Troutman Pepper Locke advised BPX Production Company, BP PLC’s U.S. onshore business operating in the Permian, Eagle Ford, and Haynesville basins, in the execution of long-term commercial agreements with NDB Midstream and WaterBridge Operating (collectively, WaterBridge) to support their long-term development plans in the Stateline region of the Delaware Basin. WaterBridge will initially construct and operate 400MBbls/d of new produced water handling capacity over the next three years, with the ability to increase capacity to 600MBbls/d. The commercial agreements contemplate the greenfield construction of a large diameter gathering and transportation system to safely and efficiently transport water away from BP’s development locations in Reeves County, Texas.
The team on this matter included David Wilhelm, Terry Radney, and Lee Alexander.
