HOUSTON – Troutman Pepper Locke advised Western Midstream Partners, LP (WES), a master limited partnership formed to develop, acquire, own, and operate midstream assets, in its acquisition of Brazos Delaware II, LLC, one of the largest privately held gathering and processing platforms in the Texas Delaware Basin, for approximately $1.6 billion. Transaction consideration comprised approximately $800 million in cash and approximately $800 million in WES common units. The transaction expands WES’ natural gas, crude oil, and natural gas liquids gathering and processing footprint across the core of the Delaware Basin.
