Shannon VanVleet Patterson will participate in the “Entity Management: Lifecycle of an Entity,” panel session on Tuesday, October 6 at 1:45 p.m. as part of the Association of Corporate Counsel’s (ACC) Annual Meeting in Boston.

From formation to dissolution, the session covers the full lifecycle of a legal entity and the governance, compliance, and operational decisions that arise at every stage. Topics include entity creation, structural planning, registrations, ongoing maintenance, annual reporting, and governance best practices, as well as the risks of failing to preserve corporate separateness. The discussion will also address subsidiary oversight, outsourcing, international entity management, and recurring compliance obligations – including annual reports, tax filings, business licenses, and beneficial ownership requirements. The session is designed for legal and compliance professionals managing entities across U.S. and non-U.S. jurisdictions.
