BTI Consulting Group Names Troutman Pepper Locke’s Chris Willis 2026 Super All-Star for Client Service; David Gettings and Bilal Zaheer Achieve All-Star Honors

NEW YORK – Troutman Pepper Locke’s Chris Willis has been named a 2026 BTI Super All-Star by BTI Consulting Group, and partners David Gettings and Bilal Zaheer have also been recognized as Client Service All-Stars. The recognition is based solely on unsolicited, in-depth client feedback and honors attorneys delivering the highest standard of client service.

Willis is the co-leader of the Consumer Financial Services Regulatory Practice Group at the firm. He advises financial services institutions facing state and federal government investigations and examinations, counseling them on compliance issues including UDAP/UDAAP, credit reporting, debt collection, and fair lending. Willis also defends clients in individual and class action lawsuits brought by consumers and in enforcement actions initiated by government agencies.

Gettings is a financial services litigator who defends consumer class actions and commercial litigation nationwide, with a particular focus on class actions involving credit reporting. He has deep experience representing companies across the credit reporting industry, including consumer reporting agencies, resellers, furnishers, and end-users.

Zaheer is a trial attorney with nearly two decades of experience representing clients in high-stakes, complex commercial disputes, often stemming from failed deals, unfair competition, and governance breakdowns. His clients span a range of industries, including technology, life sciences, health care, financial services, and industrial, and include early-stage companies, Fortune 500 companies, private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, executives, and boards.
