Troutman Pepper Locke partners Tracey E. Diamond and Emily E. Schifter will be joined by Margaret Kelsey, J.D., Director of the Center for Global Justice at Regent University School of Law, and Hollie Nadel, Director of Advocacy and Engagement at 3Strands Global Foundation, to present “Human Trafficking in Employment: At-Risk Populations, Red Flags, Legal Protections, Employer Accountability,” a CLE program offered through BARBRI. The program will take place on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. ET.

The session will examine the prevalence of labor trafficking across industries and the heightened vulnerabilities of certain at-risk populations. It will address the legal and reputational risks for employers, highlight common red flags of trafficking in the workplace, and outline practical steps counsel can take to help clients identify and respond to potential trafficking situations. The discussion will also explore how to develop and implement trauma-informed HR practices, conduct effective supply chain due diligence, and incorporate robust anti-trafficking provisions and safeguards into contracts and broader business operations.
