Pub K’s Government Contracts Annual Review Conference

Troutman Pepper Locke is proud to sponsor Pub K’s Government Contracts Annual Review Conference in Washington, D.C. Hilary Cairnie will be a panelist on the “Investigations & Audits” session, being held on Wednesday, February 11, at 11:20 a.m..

The Investigations & Audits panel will comment on recent enforcement outcomes stemming from audits and investigations, to include False Claims Act decisions and published settlements and claim appeal decisions.

The panel will also update attendees with (i) a look at GSA’s planned next steps for expansion of its procurement authority across multiple agencies, (ii) a look ahead concerning the increased emphasis on direct GSA contracting, (iii) an objective assessment of GSA’s experience with transactional data reporting (TDR) and its potential impact on GSA OIG audit activity, and (iv) recent developments with VA Federal Supply Schedules concerning disclosure of commercial sales practices and administrative recoveries under the Price Reduction Clause.

DCMA and DCAA audit and investigation priorities will be addressed, and the impact of the FY26 NDAA on the defense industrial base, as well as how these factors influence audit scope and documentation expectations, future audit priorities, and enforcement exposure for government contractors.

The Investigations & Audits panel will conclude with a review of common audit issues and best practices in preparation for audits and possible investigations.
