July 23, 2024: Breakout Session on Chat GPT and AI-Related Issues

Tom Kinney will be hosting a breakout session focused on exploring Chat GPT and various AI-related topics. This session aims to provide insights into the latest advancements and challenges in the field of artificial intelligence.

July 24, 2024: Interactive Workshop on Reinsurance Contract Interpretation

Leslie Davis will serve as a discussion leader for an interactive workshop on reinsurance contract interpretation. The interactive session will use case studies to provide a hands-on learning experience with coverage determination based on the reinsurance contract terms and the policy language. She will help emphasize the importance of different contract language and analyze pertinent contract clauses with the goal in mind of preventing coverage disputes.

July 25, 2024: Breakout Session on Privacy Issues in the US and International

Jim Koenig will co-host a breakout session on privacy issues both in the U.S. and internationally. During this session, Jim will explore the differences in legal and regulatory frameworks applicable to non-U.S. ceding companies and reinsurers compared to their U.S. counterparts, and how these differences could affect the parties’ rights and obligations under reinsurance contracts.
