The honor recognizes Texas’ most promising lawyers under 40, who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and skill, along with a strong commitment to pro bono and charitable service.
The award adds to a growing list of honors for McCoy, who was recently named a Law360 Rising Star and recognized by Chambers USA, included in D Magazine’s 2026 Best Lawyers in Dallas for Criminal Defense: White Collar, and named to D Magazine‘s Best Lawyers Under 40 list for a third consecutive year.
McCoy’s practice sits at the intersection of white collar criminal defense, antitrust enforcement, government investigations, and regulatory litigation, where she has helped secure landmark outcomes for clients. She is also active in the broader legal community as a member of the Women’s White Collar Defense Association, the Business Arts Council, and the American Constitution Society, and maintains an active pro bono practice representing indigent criminal defendants and asylum seekers.
