ATLANTA – The Corporate Volunteer Council of Atlanta honored Troutman eMerge with the Corporate Skills-Based Award at its 29th Annual IMPACT Awards, recognizing the firm’s pro bono work supporting the Georgia Innocence Project’s (GIP) mission of exonerating those wrongfully convicted.
Working in collaboration with Apparo, a nonprofit technology strategy, implementation, consulting, and support provider, the eMerge project team assessed GIP’s data and document management systems to identify inefficiencies and develop a three-year technology roadmap. The team’s work is projected to save days per case, freeing GIP staff to focus more on investigating claims of innocence, supporting clients, and advancing justice. The eMerge team supporting GIP was led by Jules Bruno and Jennifer Knox.
