BOSTON – Troutman Pepper client Apnimed, a clinical-stage company focused on advancing pharmacologic treatments for sleep apnea and related disorders, has raised $25 million in Series B financing led by existing investor Morningside Ventures, and joined by new investors Seligman Investments and Tao Capital Partners. Apnimed is seeking to transform the treatment of sleep apnea with the development of novel pharmacologic therapies to treat it and related disorders. The company’s lead program, AD109, is currently in late-stage Phase 2 clinical trials. The financing will support the initiation of a Phase 3 program and other ongoing development and commercialization plans.
