A NOTE FROM TOM AND AMIE

We are excited to share several highlights from an eventful second quarter and spotlight some upcoming events that are taking place across our offices in the coming months.

Since April, we have welcomed five new lateral partners across our Capital Projects + Infrastructure, Corporate, Energy, and Finance + Restructuring practices – Alexandra Barrage, Lloyd MacNeil, Alex Rovira, Trevor Salter, and Jeff Strenkowski. Through the first half of the year, 14 lateral partners have joined the firm, broadening our client base and enhancing our capabilities.

In May, the firm hosted a first-of-its-kind generative AI event, “Pathfinders Beyond Boundaries: Law Firm AI Summit”, where leaders from more than 20 law firms joined Troutman Pepper to discuss the use of generative AI in the legal industry, including associated use cases, training, ethical obligations, policy implications, and more. In August, we look forward to celebrating the first anniversary of our generative AI assistant, Athena.

The firm also recently hosted its annual firmwide Week of Service, where nearly 900 attorneys and business professional staff participated in over 70 service projects in many of the communities where we work and live.

We will be hosting several upcoming alumni receptions and offering Continuing Legal Education (CLE) sessions over the next few months. You can learn more about these events and other firm-related news and updates throughout this newsletter.

Looking forward to staying connected.
